Paleo Mogli Bites

This treat is a real O.M.G. moment kind of treat.  When developing this recipe I had many taste testers, just to make sure I wasn't crazy...and they really were OMG amazing!! What I found was that not only did everyone absolutely love them, but they could not get enough of the little bites...and still, after nearly a month and half of the initial testing, they are telling me just how tasty it was and how it has become a staple in their house...a must have on hand at all times, necessity!  All of that being said, be warned...these are highly addictive and incredibly delicious! 

Ingredients:

  • 15 Dates
  • 1/2-1/3 cup banana chips
  • 1/3 cup + 1 Tlbs coconut oil
  • 3 Tlbs chia seed
  • 3 Tlbs flax seed
  • 1/3 cup coconut butter
  • 1/3 cup sunflower seeds
  • 1/3 cup almond butter
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • 2 Tlbs honey

Step 1:
Remove pits and chop dates

Step 2:
Measure and combine coconut oil with dates

Step 3:
Measure and crush banana chips (used my hands)

Step 4:
Using a fork, scrape the coconut butter to flake, measure, and add to bowl

Step 5:
Measure and add the rest of the ingredients

Step 6:
Using your hands, combine, a great job for the kids...let them monkey around :)

Step 7:
Roll into 1-2 in balls and refrigerate as is or roll in coconut flakes, almond or cashew flour.
